What we collect
Profmail collects account details, onboarding answers, resume text you provide, professor search activity, generated drafts, send metadata, replies, billing state, and basic product analytics.
How we use it
We use this information to personalize drafts, run professor discovery, send approved outreach, surface replies, enforce abuse limits, provide support, and improve reliability.
Email and Gmail data
If you connect Gmail, we request send and read-only scopes so Profmail can send approved emails and import replies. We do not sell Gmail data or use it for advertising.
Minors
Profmail is for users 13 and older. Students should involve a parent or guardian when sending outreach that includes personal details.
Retention and deletion
You can request deletion of your account data by emailing hello@profmail.io. Some operational records may be retained when required for security, billing, compliance, or abuse prevention.
